- Canadian tuxedos/worn denim
- Guy-liner, but specifically the smudged shitty kind, fuck men wearing winged eyeliner
- A long scarf
- Anything wool
- A trench coat
- A durable piece of clothing that’s been passed down
- Wearing jewelry/hairstyles from that person’s culture
- Warm reds and browns rather than violet reds
- Buying used clothing, not shopping firsthand
- Long skirts
- Aftershave, beard wax/balm that makes your face smell nice
- Oil perfumes rather than spray
- Rings (but only if worn also with bracelets, otherwise I feel like that person’s naked), toe rings, rings that go on the last digit
- Dying your hair yourself, I think it’s very un-chic to get your hair dyed (a fun color) professionally
- Layering scents
- Having something that is signature, that you really love and wear all the time
- Each piece of jewelry you own has a story behind it
- Making jewelry, sewing your own clothes, mending items, making things last longer
- Painted nails (specifically earthy colors)
- Wired headphones (but not the Apple ones, like the clunky—I just got these from the computer lab headphones)
- Birthmarks and freckles/spots
- Not having a big social media exposure/living under a rock (this is so chic to me)
- Doing things authentically
- Fingerless gloves
- Beanies that you can wear the hipster way
