this is... a photo of the sun rising, right before two friends of mine and i did a polar plunge into the lake. this was my first time ever doing this, immeditaley after, i changed and presented my final for art critique. i felt invigorated.

this is... a photo of a rotting/dead log my friends and i saw while we were exploring the woods after screaming out and getting our nerves out. it was here that i learned, i am not so good at screaming. i'm not sure if i've always been bad at it, but ever since my vocal chords thickened, i think i might be done for if i'm ever crying out for help. it just hurts too much to scream loudly/vigorously.

this is... a photo of a coffee shop my friend drove us to right before we got piercings this weekend. i had flan and an raspberry-pinapple italian soda (if you haven't noticed already, i'm not too fond of coffee... this is my goal, to become more coffee-oriented as a person).

this is... a photo of the table we sat at at the same shop. the place reminded me a lot of the coffee shop i work out, and it was really fun to be an outsider looking in. i was feeling... hashtag mindful.

this is... a photo of our bellies. one of my friends got their navel pierced. the other their labret/lip. and the other got their traigus/ear piercied. i got my daith repierced, because i did not take good care of it the first time and it got infected. we took this photo after the piercings to commemorate the fact that we all had matching piercings now!

this is...the radio station that i work at's collection of vinyls. i took this photo to show a friend bc she was just so curious on how the station works, but specifically what it would have been like in the olden days. she was like, so if someone on air requested a song would they just pray they had that album and try and find it in the back. and i was like yeah pretty much, like the collection is sooo big they're bound to have something/

this is...a photo of the most gloomy/foggy/mysterious weather i'd seen in a while. this weather reminded me of a very specific, sad and cinematic night (abt a yr ago) when i snuck out from a one night stand (eek!! i know, what kind of scott is this!!??). this night specifically actually ended up being really good, i hung out with my friends and i'm now assosiating this type or weather with that, rather than the bad memory.

this is...an almond crossiant danish. our cafe only sells these on sundays. this is the best pastry. i usually don't snatch them up in time because i don't work sundays and because they're so popular. i wanted to doccument this one because it's my favorite.

this is...a photo of my toes after dunking them in the lakefront. my friends and i as a last harrah before spring break decided to all dip our toes in the lake. they started getting really really cold, to the point where i couldn't feel them anymore.

this is...the view from the lakefront. in this moment, i was very happy and felt very pleased to have something so cinematic happen to me. often times, i think because i am a more shy person i always worry i won't get the "tradtional" college expirience--drinking, going to parties, hook-up culture, what not--that you see in the movies. but because of my adventerous friends, i feel like i get to have these expiriences without sacrificing who i am. i am so happy to make such memories and i know these are the ones i'll remeber for the rest of my life.

this is... a photo of me and my friend at the lake. We had just finished watching the sunset and collecting sea-glass. My can of coke had lots of sand in it but that's apart of the expirience.
